He did his MBBS at Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Charitable Hospital. He went on to complete his M.Ch. in Neurosurgery from NIMHANS. He underwent comprehensive neurosurgical training at one of the Institutes of National Importance. Additionally, he has undergone training at AIIMS, New Delhi, and NIMHANS, Bangalore, in microvascular anastomosis. After completing his residency at NIMHANS in Bangalore, He gained 1.5 years of work experience at KEM Hospital in Mumbai.
