Bio
Dr. Sujit Nair completed his MD in Medicine and DM in Gastroenterology from Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Charitable Hospital in Mumbai, home to India’s first gastroenterology department. He served as an Assistant Professor there for two years, teaching DM students and participating in clinical research. Dr. Sujit Nair has numerous international and national research publications and is an international member of the American Gastroenterological Association. Trained in Hepatology and advanced endoscopy, he performs a variety of emergency and elective endoscopic procedures, including banding for Varices, Esophageal Dilatation, Hemoclip Placement, Polypectomy, ERCP for large stones and strictures, pancreatic ERCP, EUS, EUS-FNA, EUS-guided drainage, Enteroscopy, Manometry, and PEG tube placement.
